I have had a 2024 2X SUT with Extreme Off-road Package for 9 months and 6,500 miles. It has been trouble-free. I started driving electric in 2018 after my Buick GN was totaled due to an uninsured teen driver. My first EV was a Chevrolet Spark (trouble-free), then a Chevrolet Bolt (trouble-free), then a used '12 MSP85 (had electrical issues but overall good car), Hyundai Ioniq 6 (worst car I ever owned, worst dealer and manufacturer I have ever dealt with), Nissan Leaf (great car but batteries are horrible), '24 M3 (trouble-free). The technology lacks compared to Tesla, but I dumped Tesla due to personal reasons and will never go back as long as Musk is involved with the company.
The Hummer EV is by far the most fun to drive. You can lower all windows, including the rear on the SUT, take off all the roof panels and enjoy the drive. Raise and lower the height on demand or enable WTF mode if you want an acceleration blast. One feature I truly love is the 4-wheel steering, I can make a U-turn on my residential street where my GF's Kia EV6 can't even come close. Range is pretty spot on at around 300 miles. SOC doesn't drop at all while sitting, compared to Tesla at 3%-6% drop daily. Charging at a 350kW DCFC is very quick, usually requiring 15-20 minutes when traveling long distance. Super Cruise works great and is truly hands-free. The 2X utilizes actual locking differentials where the 3X utilizes a virtual system for the rear. I'm sure I am missing something here, but the Hummer EV SUT is really fun to drive. Did I mention color is Afterburner Tintcoat (fairly bright orange)?
