Yep, nice piece. I got mine about a year ago. Like I said before I have every carbon fiber piece made except for the cf skid plate insert that comes on the CF edition

How about this one? Was so hard to install I ended up just popping out that plastic piece only to discover that it's the source of the rattle in the back. After putting on the "carbon fiber"/sticker I applied some clear silicone adhesive goop to the back before reinstalling. My Hummer is quiet as a mouse now... they'll never hear me coming! (Solar Orange so they'll definitely see me coming tho)

Oh and I also removed the hood bra and felt stuff from the doors. Both were bad ideas. I had to get the hood buffed and the felt weighs 100 pounds when wet. i just order Carbon Fiber Look (tm) door kick panel stickers to replace some of them. They go around the lower door speakers just like the felt did. I'll post pics when installed.

I noticed there are two different people selling those pieces now. The carbon fiber ones for the center console come with and without that weird hummer texture pattern, for example (I ordered without). I think the door panel ones I ordered are a little skinnier around speakers that yours are too so might be from the other seller. We'll see shortly..

For your hood, have you thought about getting the Lund protector?

I'm just going to leave it unprotected. Keeping it cheap to repair was kind of the whole point in me buying this is in the first place. I changed my mind on the big black hood part too. Had to have some body work done recently and was really glad I hadn't paid for a wrap. I did buy an orange Powerstroke Turbo Diesel badge I'm going to put on it though, just for laughs. I mean, there's literally nothing but air under that thing; it's just for looks.

I finally figured out what's wrong with my Hummer's air vents! They're not made of carbon fiber.

Murphy is starting to question my sanity, however.

Make sure you get the other trim pieces as well.

I haven't been able to find one for the inside of vent but the outside looks fabulous!

I bought a little narrow strip of this stuff for that but I can't find the triangular piece like on the outside for inside of vent, yet. I'm sure someone in China will eventually make it and sell it to me on eBay for a 500% profit though. LOL

No but I gotta get that one too! LOL.. the piece on other side that matches the triangle with vent for driver's window defrosting. Maybe I just haven't seen it on fleaBay yet. I got the narrow strip for other side coming soon though so will take pic after installed.

EDIT: If you got the Carbon Edition I'd kill to know the part number for the spare tire cover. That's a used part I'm keep my eyes peeled for on the Bay of E!

The Carbon Fiber edition doesn’t come with a spare tire cover.
