Tire Noise - correct pressure

My dealer delivered my HEV with 41 psi all around. Noticed that the tire noise was on a scale of 1 to 10, where 10 was unbearable, it was about a 6.5.
The correct cold tire pressure is 44 psi all around. Tire noise dropped to a 3.7.
 
Good to know! I don't think I've ever received a new vehicle where the tire pressure was set correctly. Which wheel and tire option do you have on your truck?

I took the all terrain tires with the black and silver beadlock wheels
 
I've had some loud tires in my life and I've never noticed a difference depending on air pressure. Some tires (knobbies, especially) are just loud on the road. It's just one of those things.
