Hummer EV Squeaky Swing-gate

I had a squeaking noise coming from the rear of the SUV that seemed to be getting worse over the last month. I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. I finally had my wife drive while I rode in the back to track it down. At first, I thought it was the roof panels, but it turned out to be coming from the swing gate area. After doing some research, I found a recommendation to grease the latch’s locking mechanism. Sure enough, that solved the problem. Just wanted to pass that along in case it happens to you!
