General Motors has released a Service Update for select units of the 2022 to 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup over an issue with the power tonneau cover.
According to Service Update N232434060, certain 2022 to 2024 Hummer EV Pickup examples may have a condition where the power tonneau cover doesn’t open or close. If this were to be the case, certified GM technicians are instructed to inspect affected vehicles and replace the electronic control unit (ECU) or power tonneau cover motor as necessary. Notably, it should take techs roughly 1.6 hours to fix this issue.
It’s worth mentioning that it’s unclear how many units are affected by this new Service Update.
