Has anybody installed a dash camera on a 2024 3X truck. If so any recommendation on brands of camera.

So I know the dealership doesn't make a dash camera for the EV Hummers.

I have a 2026 Hummer EV Pickup. I installed this one. VIOFO. bought on Amazon, it is really great picture with Front/Back cameras, you can also gt a third camera for inside cabin. The thing on this one is it can also handle really large 512GB SD cards amounting to about 6 days of uninterrupted recording, or even now a External 1TB, 2TB or 4TB high speed SSD amounting to 46 days of recording. Lastly, you can also get a External weatherproof camera for this recorder

Were you able to have the camera hard wired in or did you just run the cords to the outlets.

I actually just did the plugin, I did not do the hardwire yet until I understand this battery more. the truck seems to spend energy on some things, such as the charging indicators, the periodic connecting to describe its heath. and I am not sure if the OEM is some peon 12v battery disguised as a H7 or is it something like a Odysee AGM battery
At this moment I think that having the low voltage cutoff closer to 12.8v may be safe,

You make a very good valid point. I know when I had my Hummer in for the recall on reprogramming at the dealership, they said they can hard wire a dash camera in but the camera has to be bought from GMC in order to install it. I'll keep researching it and will inform you if I find out a way to hard wire in the camera without messing up anything.

Thanks Brother, When I thinking about it. I was considering a Fuse Tap on two circuits. There are a ton of SPAREs on the fuse boxes ( just need to test them all out if they can be considered) that are potential - However if not the spares, then the One obviously the ignition connected, that could be potential 12v accessory plug. and then for the non ignition, I am thinking a circuit tied to the puddle lights or charge lights, they seem to operate without any key in the proximity -
