12v battery is being charged

Who knows when the hummer is charging, its blue lights are powered by which battery ? 12v battery or main battery. If I charge from a regular outlet for 24 or 36 hours, my 12v battery completely dies. I think the blue lights take power from the 12v battery when they are on, while the main battery is charging.

In a nutshell, If you’re only charging at level one, it will drain the 12V battery. You need to charge at level two for the 12V not to run down during charging.

if you are using a regular wall outlet (120 v) it’s considered “level one” which is extremely slow especially for vehicle with the size battery of the HUMMER. “Level 2” is when you are using a 240 v outlet similar to one that is used for a home dryer. Also if you use a public charger that is 24- 80 A it would be considered level two charging. Hopefully that makes sense to you.
