I've been jealous of the other full-sized American trucks with more screen real estate, so I added a carplay/android auto-enabled widescreen on the passenger side. Luckily since I already installed a dash cam the installation was a cinch.

That’s really cool, but what do you do with it? I wish someone made a swivel for the center panel so I could turn it towards me slightly. I’ve seen a company that makes one for the CyberTruck.

It can double as an Android Auto or mirror screen for my wife's phone so she can display other route or restaurant options without having to take over my main screen. I can also cast to it so the passenger can watch movies/videos while driving. The chief motivation was the waste of space in the dash though. It just felt so lopsided to have no screen there, now its a nice interactive touchscreen.

That's awesome! That would be useful in the 2026+ HEV without Carplay.

What screen did you buy?

I bought this from Amazon. There are others that might be even better.

I doubt it, I haven't tried but I imagine that would have to be controlled with the phone if dual-output bluetooth is possible. The interactivity works really well with the screen mirroring so the phone was controlled from the touchscreen. Still need to test a few more functions.
