In the "now for something completely different category"... the super ancient Egyptian god Sah (equivalent to Zeus) is standing upright in my backyard right now. The tip of his pointy hat is actually the star Betelgeuse which is about 500 light years away and may have already gone supernova (or maybe not).

EDIT: Apparently there's nowhere on all of the Interwebzes where I can find an ancient egyptian star map so here's my contribution to society:

These super old egyptian dudes even recovered meteroric iron from an impact site south of the great pyramids, hammered it into tools and were so advanced their pyramid was destroyed by later generations and their technology was kept secret for millennia:

This was the best hack EVER!!! Took longer to code back then, a hammer and chisel were required, but there's really not much difference with what J.R.R. taught me when I was 13 (helps to read Greek instead of English though).

And here's one that's all me...

I'm 100% sure they even knew that the planets revolved around the sun. Those meteors also melted sand into glass which could have been made into crude optics. To them the moons revolving around Mars (Horus of the Horizon), Saturn (Horus the Bull of the Sky) and Jupiter (Horus Who Limits the Two Lands) appeared to be "chariots of fire" (to borrow a phrase) and it was Horus himself who was flying around from one planet to the other. How this information became lost to subsequent generations is somewhat of a mystery to me. Perhaps Socrates could enlighten us.. oops, he drank the hemlock for the good of the law and state, despite his best friend's efforts to dissuade him. Oh well, may have taken a few thousand more years to rediscover this revelation from the gods but c'est la vie under Pharaoh and King and Queen <insert additional authoritarian titles here> etc.

EDIT: And one more thing (i like Columbo, but not as much as Serpico)...

This is also a lesson in hacking ethics. The hacker ethic forbids you from destroying this information. It also forbids you from keeping it a secret for thousands of years. I don't care if it's for the good of the whole #$%# country; keeping people in the dark while you alone have electricity is wrong (the ark was a battery).

And then used it to buy even more SKHY. I'm trying sumtin' new tho. I set good-for-60-days sell orders at various levels. I'm going to keep buying "manually" but my selling is on automatic. Best to keep emotions out of it. I probably held onto my EV stocks too long and it cost me.

Hate LG Corp but these Gram laptops are amazing. Looks like plastic but it's actually a lightweight magnesium alloy. You can see here the beating my old one took. Never used a case or cover or anything.

Looks to me like all the economic growth since about August 24 was fake. They just printed money to keep the economy going. Now it's starting to catch up with them. In addition, the strategic oil reserve is actually 30% lower than a year ago, so any shock to the system will be felt within weeks. That's how fast dookie could hit the fan.

I may be to knock out a Market Maker by getting them to borrow too many shares from the clearing house and fail to deliver but I can't fight the Fed. Nobody can fight the Fed. This looks like it could be the start of the next tightening cycle to me. I have to start putting my money back into saving. Cash will be king, again.

You know, and I feel kind of stoopid for not noticing that's what was going on. Like the only place I can buy a car in Texas now is from a "Group1" dealership. It's obviously growth from mergers and acquisitions with freshly printed money. So there's not going to be much competition keeping prices down either.

So what are the odds oil will go to $80 vs $120? Seems like $120 is more likely to me but I'm not an oil expert. I play a mean game of Axis and Allies though!
