It will be interesting to see if, once this recall is completed, we start seeing more over-the-air updates.

Why would “improving the customer experience and optimizing future OTA updates” be the reason for an NHTSA recall?

Went Fri for recall. Those were my only updates. And was very fast. 17 min download time. EV was thrilled w speed. Ran thru all my modules. Now mine was fresh. July 24. 24 SUT. Had just arrived. He said those were the fewest updates he’s seen in awhile. Anyway…..

I just purchased a used, 1 owner (4400 miles: 4 months) ev truck 2 days ago. They told me to bring it to my local dealer to have this done, which I did today. The update wouldn’t take and the truck lost its brakes. They’re awaiting gm experts to advise which may not be until next week. Anybody else experience issues with this update and what was your experience? Are the “experts” available on weekends (fingers crossed). Love the truck, but I’m not happy rn.

Hi Sr. did you had a resolution of your problem?
I have something similar after a update, and the brakes module seems unresponsive.
