Hummer EV needs more light! Time for a Light Bar..

Yes I did
How did you run your wires.
I ran the wires between the pillar and windshield, went into the front truck and across the vehicle. Then I added an extension wire so it would reach where I needed it to go. How did you run yours?

i have it between the a pillar post and windshield, i saw where they took it up thru the top, but i did not want to cause any leaks

Agreed, that’s another reason chose this light bar, it didn’t require any cutting or panel removal.

It’s funny if they were making this specifically for the Hummer EV and knowing where the battery is, they wouldn’t have the wiring come out of the passenger side of the light bar.

Do you notice any mileage drop?

EXACTLY!!!! That was the exact point I was making to one of their engineers that ended up calling me back to get a better understanding of the issue.

M&R has the wires on the passenger side of all of their light bars.

Time to kick off the mods, and I’m thinking of starting with a light bar.

For those running a roof-mounted light bar, how much extra wind noise does it create? I’m leaning toward the M&R front bumper-mounted light bar.

Is anyone using the M&R Hummer EV Bumper 40in Light Bar-PRO?

M & R installed in Burbank. Mike was so professional and fast! They mount the small squares back off the hood unlike GM that mounts to the hood and only give you white lights! You pick your color, white or amber. I bought module at GM for $460 and select Hummer top left and get aux 1-6. White is 1,2,3 and Amber is 4,5,6 in infotainment. Clean

No wind noise and I prefer the GMC Accessory lights over the aftermarket because they don't block the signature 3 yellow clearance lights that define the Hummer. Plus being higher up you get less windshield wash out from the lights reflecting off the windshield.
