Hummer EV Hood/Frunk won’t close?

Anyone have issues with the frunk not closing all the way? It’s seems the latch won’t catch it and completely shut it. I’ve tried disconnecting the battery, waiting 15 minutes, and letting everything reboot/relearn but not having much luck. I’m about 45 miles away from home and looks like I’ll be limited to 26mph

Crawled to the dealership at 26 mph this morning. Fingers crossed it’s a quick fix!

Their Hummer EV tech was out today, so hoping to hear something tomorrow.

That would frustrate me so much, especially if the dealership was far away! If it's under warranty you could probably force them to come and tow it

They are replacing the latch, the part should be in tomorrow. On the bright side, I'm glad it happened now instead of on a trip in the middle of nowhere. Another positive is the service from GM dealership has been great considering.

Is this the same dealership you bought it from? I always feel like I only get good service if the dealership actually sold me that vehicle.... anyone else's experience?

Me too when the small battery went dead. Just like the other reply I drove it at 26 mph to the dealership

No, I actually bought the Hummer out of state but the service from the local dealership has been awesome.

They were able to get the latch delivered and installed in 2 days. They also updated all the modules while it was there.

Hopefully I got the issues out of the way now. I missed driving it!

Well that's good to hear! Maybe just something I've noticed or I'm projecting. Glad they got you fixed quick and on the road again!
