There are enough people trying to kill me already. I don't need to assist them changing my tires without some sort of a stand as backup.

You know, here I was happily day-trading stocks and someone just had to put this @#%@ orange Hummer EV SUV on sale. Now I'm contemplating cutting the middle man out of this tire dealio. I mean, how much could a tire balancer cost anyways?

I may need professional help... not with changing my tires though.

Looks like Discount Tire's business is safe from my competition. The 120V ones like above can't handle 35" tires, though they say 24" wheels. And the truck ones are mostly 240V and that outlet is already in use. Plus none of the ones under two grand look anywhere near as nice as the Bosch machine in that video. They look more like some handheld game from 1979 with big digit red LED numbers and everything. Hard to believe they can't put a little LCD screen on those or something. Maybe they are leftovers from 1979.. *sigh*

I guess I'm done researching and decided I'm sticking with stock rims. In fact, I'm pretty sure the wheel locks the myGMC app sold me are wrong and will damage the lug seat if used on stock wheels. Glad I only used one on the spare and didn't torque it down much.

I'm buying four of these which have a special compound that reduces rolling resistance AND a different sidewall pattern that reduces drag at highway speeds. Then I'll buy a $900 tire cover for the spare I guess since I kind of need that camera hole that's in it.

If anyone finds a better price let me know before I order them next month. Little busy tradin' corporate currencies this month..
