No wind noise and I prefer the GMC Accessory lights over the aftermarket because they don't block the signature 3 yellow clearance lights that define the Hummer. Plus being higher up you get less windshield wash out from the lights reflecting off the windshield.

The rattles and creeking is from the panels not fitting tight and you get that regardless if they are clear or not. There is a TSB for it, where the dealer will install washers to make it fit tighter. Additionally, many, including myself, have installed shrink wrap on the pins for the panels...

It wouldn't be a solid aluminum roof. First of all the hummer is made of steel, not aluminum. 2nd without the transparent panels you still get removable panels, just not clear. There is no wind turbulence with any panels. You would need a flexible material like canvas to have wind turbulence.

I've taken mine off road over boulders, 24 inch ledges, and extreme uneven terrain that had me on 3 wheels and not one issue. That's just a manufacturer defect you got there.

Standard on omega. I got them for my ED1. They nice for daily driving but I remove them and install factory rubber for off road trips.

I believe exit height stays until 10 mph? I know WTF mode stays lowered when driving any speed.
