My 2023 Hummer EV SUT Edition 1 is begging for an upgrade from my current 35" BFG AT K03s, and while I've been satisfied with these tires on the Hummer EV, and my previous Ranger Raptor, I'm looking at upgrading to a 37" tire.
My off-roading is mostly muddy terrain or sandy beaches, and not a ton of rock crawling (not much in the way of available rock crawling near me, at least for a vehicle the size of the Hummer EV). That being said, my Hummer is my daily and it does see a fair number of highway miles as well.
Right now I'm debating between sticking with an AT such as the BFG K03s, or the Toyo AT3s, but also I've been looking at the BFG KM3 mud terrains or the Toyo Open Country RT or RT Pro. All in a 37 x 12.5 / 18 (stock wheels).
Both the BFG K03s and Toyo AT3s are 3-Peak rated, so better for snow / ice conditions, but for some of the off-roading that I do play around with, I'm wondering if the KM3 or RT-Pros would be a better overall fit.
Any recommendations?
