Welcome to the Hummer EV Forum! Please post an introduction thread!

Hi all! Just joined the thread after lurking for a while; currently considering leasing a Hummer (either SUV or Truck). I own a '23 Bronco Raptor that I'm finding to be more and more cramped inside. I have three boys ages 2 - 7, and the Braptor is just so small inside with their carseats and boosters. If anyone has any real world feedback to share on the space inside with carseats/etc. I'd love to hear it! Also, would love to hear pros/cons for each the SUV and truck. Thank you in advance, and nice meeting everyone!

Bronco Raptor vs Hummer EV

Welcome to the forum! The Hummer’s back seats don’t quite match the space of the F-150, but they’re definitely roomier than the Bronco. There’s more legroom, and the seats are wide enough to comfortably fit three adults without an issue.

As for cargo space, the Hummer does lose some floor room because of the battery setup. However, it makes up for it a bit in width, so overall it’s probably close to what you’d get in the Bronco.

Bronco Raptor vs Hummer EV

This is great info. Thank you for the reply! I need to go test drive one soon and check it out in person

Another few things I’ve noticed between the two vehicles (I have a ’21 FE Bronco) is that the Hummer is extremely quiet, just like others have mentioned. It feels much more solid and planted on the road, and you can definitely sense the extra weight. Every now and then I'll hear a creak or the suspension, but that's about it. Turn the radio up and you hear nothing. :ROFLMAO:

Visibility is also noticeably better, especially with the digital rearview mirror. The only drawback I’ve run into is seeing above through the front windshield at times, like when you’re stopped at a traffic light. If you pull up too close, you practically have to lean down to see it.

Let us know if you do get some time to test drive one! I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts as well.

Bronco Raptor vs Hummer EV

That’s good to know. My wife can’t stand the road noise in the Bronco once you get on the highway lol.

We just did a 350 mile round trip in the Bronco, and I found myself wishing we had taken the Hummer instead. It was a last-minute trip and the Hummer wasn’t fully charged, which is the main reason we left it behind. You definitely have to plan a little more with trips.

I’ve had the Bronco for about 4 years and only put 12,000 miles on it total, but I’m already close to 7,000 miles on the Hummer in less than a year. That says a lot about how much we enjoy driving it! Even my wife, who originally thought it was “too big,” absolutely loves driving it now.

Is this a good deal on a lease?

A bit late but you can run it through leasehackr.com and that will tell you exactly how much the lease should be. Doesn't look bad though.
