Trading in Lucid for Hummer please stop me

Hi all.
I recently rented a Hummer EV on Turo and fell in love. But I have a beautiful Lucid air grand touring at home. Now that I’m home I can’t stop thinking about the weekend fling I had.
Should I trade in my lucid?
I worry about Hummers software, lack of road trip ability (I travel from Texas to Florida a lot) and the lack of turn signal camera were killing me.

Any reason I should NOT do this?
Please talk me out of it

Software bugs worked out for me.

Have expanded battery. Works for me in Philly to SC.

Blind spot works well enough.

Turns out the 2026 has turn signal cameras. No apple car play though..

I've had good luck with mine over the past year and when there has been an issue, the GMC dealership in Round Rock has been great.

Had my Lucid GT for 8 months……
Great driving car but couldn’t handle all the software issues/key fob issues and infotainment issues, etc. My wife has 3X trucks. She absolutely loves it. Absolutely no issues in the last year of ownership.

Rented a hummer suv on Turo for a week a year ago, then had to buy one, love it!

Have not driven a Lucid, and sure they are very nice. Pretty d vibes, and I am biased…
Really do like the Hummer, coming from 2 Tesla Model S in a row.
It is an impossible toy that I get to drive every day and I like that a or.
Good luck with you choice, no real mistake with either… the possible issues you mentioned have not really been a problem for me. Range is better than my S (bigger battery DOES mean longer to charge) but software is okay etc.

I was also contemplating between Lucid and the Hummer EV, but I chose the Hummer just because it's big, bold and beautiful and has presence on the road. The other reason is for off-roading. I've never did off-roading before but with Hummer EV didn't take long to get into and I'm out on almost every weekend. I love it and have best of both worlds on and off road.

As far as software is concerned, that is just a matter of time before new updates come out. Remember, Hummer EV is in its own league and not perfect and not for everyone.

I bought a Lucid Air Touring for my wife in 2023. I’ve had a Tesla Model S since 2014 and I now have a 2024 Hummer EV SUV 3X. The Lucid Air is far more efficient as an electric vehicle but I’ve experienced many more software issues with the Lucid Air than with my Hummer. I personally prefer the Hummer, it’s just SO COOL! Guys approach me all the time to ask me questions about it. If you’re comfortable driving a truck, you should be able to adapt to the Hummer. Its width can pose a challenge to park in some parking lots.
