Audio Hack - Infiniti Sound on GM vehicles

I was recently made aware of the Inifiniti Sound app in the Google Play store for android auto. Installing this app allows you to adjust your audio with a 10-band EQ even for the Hummer EV (while parked). This has been universally agreed to be a total game-changer for the audio system as it allows a much improved overall sound for music playing through any source as long as you adjust it correctly. I wish GM would come up with a version tailored to the Hummer and add some DSP options, but I’m sure Bose would frown on that.

The Hummer EV uses Google for its OS. The app for the EQ is available on the vehicle's Play Store and it applies to the whole system.

Unfortunately this is no longer available on the play store GMC removed it from the play store on the Hummer infotainment center. It is a total game changer for those who did download it. It’s amazing and definitely makes the sound system worthy of a 100k vehicle.

Update: As of March 13th GM has blocked the app from the Play Store so that it is no longer available on GM vehicles. I think everyone who used it would agree that its a b!&$#@$$ move by GM. There's no good reason for them to do this unless they were going to release an equally good version themselves, which they won't. Now I'm afraid to do any OTA updates because the sound system is finally enjoyable and I dont want to lose this feature. Damn them for stifling our ability to make the music sound better for free. I'm writing complaints.
